Folksinger Taylor Mitchell Killed by Coyotes

19-year-old Canadian folksinger Taylor Mitchell was killed by a pair of coyotes whilst hiking alone in Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Apparently she was a staunch supporter of animal rights. Too bad the feeling wasn’t mutual. Very sad.
Chuck Biscuits Subject of Death Hoax

The friends, family and fans of legendary Danzig/Black Flag drummer Chuck Biscuits were victimized by a cruel Internet death hoax. Untrue and unconfirmed reports circulated far and wide that Chuck had kicked the bucket at the age of 44 due to cancer. Of course the reports that he’s still alive are similarly lacking in the evidence department…
Los Campesinos! Catch Swine Flu

Los Campesinos! announced via their Twitter account that, despite the whole band’s being diagnosed with H1N1, they’d still be hitting the stage that night. Apparently the show must go on.
Two of those stories might be publicity stunts; the third is more difficult to fake…
