Why is Mexican beer so expensive?
Warning: Lemmy Sings “Stand By Me”
Anybody pining for a Lemmy solo record need only give the first 30 seconds of this song a listen to realize that the world needs a living, breathing Motörhead to exist in perpetuity. Slayer’s Dave Lombardo appears on the track, as well, giving more pause for serious contemplation. Nice triangle work! This abomination of music appears on Flip Skateboard’s Extremely Sorry Soundtrack. Where’s Wendy O. Williams when you need her?

Lemmy Meets Ryan Seacrest
about 5 months ago - No comments
Most of these YouTube Lemmy videos are disposable, but this one from Wacken Open Air 2011 is priceless. Enjoy the view as the increasingly Ozzy-esque Lemmy and the German Ryan Seacrest speak into tennis balls. Pow! Believe it or not, Lemmy was able to perform later that evening! No, not that way, I mean musically.…

“Eat the Rich” from the Motörhead’s fantastic Rock N’ Roll album. Number Seven on the Top 10 Motörhead Songs countdown. Enjoy!
Top 10 Motörhead Songs – #8 “Orgasmatron”
about 10 months ago - No comments
Well, it’s probably not one of the top 10 Motörhead songs, and it’s not even the best song on the album, but Orgasmatron sure is a cool video! The Bill Laswell-produced Orgasmatron was the only full-length Motörhead album to feature drummer Pete Gill. Classics such as “Deaf Forever” and “Doctor Rock” make this album a…
Slayer, Exodus, and Rob Zombie Tour North America

Slayer, Exodus, and somebody named Rob Zombie are planning a tour of small towns across North America this summer. Punters from Saskatoon to Reading, PA will soon be witness to the sonic bludgeoning promised by California’s best metal bands. And a guy named Rob. I think he’s one of those movie-making guys that permeate this…
Top 10 Motörhead Songs – #9 “I Got Mine”

Another Perfect Day is Motörhead’s Come Taste the Band (look it up if you don’t know what I’m talking about, son) The only Motörhead album to feature former Thin Lizzy guitarist Brian Robertson, Another Perfect Day is an under-appreciated masterpiece of rock ‘n’ roll. Lemmy has figured it out and the current lineup has been…
Wee Man’s Chronic Tacos and Motörhead

Whilst eating lunch today at the world’s only taco shop co-owned and occasionally operated by a member of the Jackass crew, I had a unique and wonderful experience unlike any I’ve had in a Mexican restaurant: Motörhead’s “Iron Fist” came blaring out of the speakers. Great food, great music, highly recommended. Did I mention the…
Top 10 Motörhead Songs – #10 “Iron Fist”
about 10 months ago - 1 comment
Although the album from whence it sprang is largely blamed for killing the classic Motörhead lineup and sending the band into a couple of years of Robbo-induced turmoil, Iron Fist remains one of the top 10 Motörhead songs, no question. Enjoy.
Motorfighters or Foohead?
about 11 months ago - No comments
Looks like Motörhead will be opening up for Foo Fighters on a few midwestern dates this spring. If you happen to be in Oklahoma, Tennessee, Iowa or Arkansas in May (or any other time, ever, for that matter) you have my deepest sympathies. Perhaps this killer lineup will enlighten some of the rednecks and hillbillies…
Motorhead Live on Television

Motörhead performed their catchy little dance number “Get Back In Line” early this morning/last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. I knew you wouldn’t believe me, so I’ve embedded the video above for your convenience and viewing pleasure.
