Echo & The Bunnymen Cancel U.S. Tour

Echo & The Bunnymen - The Fountain

Echo & The Bunnymen have cancelled their U.S. tour which had been scheduled to begin on November 15th in Atlanta. According to a posting on the band’s Web site the cancellation is “due to unreasonable demands been (sic) presented by the IRS for the band to enter the USA to tour.” The site goes on to state that the band will tour the States in April 2010. Don’t hold your breath!

The band’s brand new record, The Fountain comes out next Tuesday, November 10th.
