“Handsome” Dick Manitoba look-alike Bob “make sure to tip your dancers” Nalbandian is back with another episode in his award-winning reality-based mini-series based on the lives of quadragenarians (I’m being kind here) reliving the glory days of their heavy metal youths. In this episode legendary music journalists John Kornarens and Jon Sutherland discuss just how instrumental they were in launching the careers of the members of Metallica. Truth be known: there is very little chance the band would even exist today, let alone in its present form, without their formidable cheerleading and networking skills. Enjoy.

Rivers Cuomo

According to CNN, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo was injured when his tour bus slid on a patch of ice and landed in a ditch. The singer complained of rib pain and was hospitalized along with one other passenger on the bus. Weezer are currently on the road promoting their new album, Raditude, out now.

Metallica will release a 19-song DVD/CD package on Tuesday Monday in most of the Spanish-speaking countries of the new world. Orgullo, Pasión, y Gloria Tres Noches en la Ciudad de México was recorded over three nights in Mexico City back in June.
