Trailer Released for “Lemmy” Movie
Oct 2nd
The Lemmy movie is still on the way and will be released at some point. Don’t believe me? Here’s a press release, which proves nothing:
“Over four decades, Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister has registered an immeasurable impact on music history. At 62, he remains the living embodiment of the rock and roll lifestyle, and this feature-length documentary tells his story, one of a hard-living rock icon who continues to enjoy the life of a man half his age. ‘LEMMY’ includes interviews with friends, family, bandmates past and present and admirers/peers such as Slash, Dave Grohl, Ozzy Osbourne, Peter Hook, Alice Cooper, Mick Jones of The Clash, C.C. Deville of Posion and many others. The film crushes all myths, rumours and speculation about Lemmy, while giving his millions of fans more access to his life than ever before.”

Warning: Lemmy Sings “Stand By Me”
Nov 2nd
Anybody pining for a Lemmy solo record need only give the first 30 seconds of this song a listen to realize that the world needs a living, breathing Motörhead to exist in perpetuity. Slayer’s Dave Lombardo appears on the track, as well, giving more pause for serious contemplation. Nice triangle work! This abomination of music appears on Flip Skateboard’s Extremely Sorry Soundtrack. Where’s Wendy O. Williams when you need her?
